Dr. Pradeep Kautish is an Associate Professor of Marketing at the Institute of Management, Nirma University in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. With over 20 years of experience in the field of marketing management, Dr. Kautish has a passion for teaching, learning, interacting, exploring, and researching a plethora of marketing management issues. He has published articles in several leading marketing journals such as the Journal of Retailing and Consumer Services, Marketing Intelligence & Planning, Journal of Product & Brand Management, and the Asia Pacific Journal of Marketing and Logistics, among others. Dr. Kautish's teaching and academic research support include management qualifications such as MBA, UGC-NET (Management), AIMA-AMT (Marketing), and PhD (Consumer Behavior & Brand Marketing). He is a Life Member of various professional bodies like ISTD, ISTE, AIAER, I&I, NAET, and ICA. Currently serving as an Associate Professor in the Marketing Area at Nirma University, Dr. Kautish teaches courses to MBA, BBA-MBA, PhD program students, and MDP/EDP participants. He also provides training and consulting to different organizations, especially to executives working in middle and top-level management cadres. Research in different management areas is his passion and forte. Dr. Kautish has also served as the Acting Dean and MBA Program Chair at the School of Business, Mody University of Science and Technology. He holds a Doctor of Philosophy (D.Phil.) from Maharshi Dayanand Saraswati University, an MBA from the same university, and a Secondary School Examination (10th) from Saint Paul's Senior Secondary School. In addition to his teaching and research activities, Dr. Kautish is a Research Scientist and QA with relevant experience of over 20 years. He is a fine blend of teaching experience in colleges affiliated with government universities, AICTE approved autonomous b-school, and private university systems. Dr. Kautish is an approved guide for PhD programs in the management of many universities in India and conducts short-term as well as long-term management development programs in various management issues/areas from sales management, service management, branding issues, and marketing management in India.
